Trusting yOurself

A little girl i knew stepped in to the rain,
Her feet soft against the harsh spatters of rain,
The puddles between her feet and under her soles formed by the rain,
Made it ok for her to wash her hair in the rain.

God only knows this little girl didnt have direction,
Confused,impressionable and without reason,
She walked and stood at the point of debate,
A lifetime of making decisions awaits her,
A bigger picture and a bigger understanding,

She looked up and saw a face of calm,
An angel of light and freedom that came to her,
Dressed in white,he walked towards her and said his name was Charlie,

Charlie wrote on her hand with gold ink,
Charlie wrote with the finest ink,
Charlie wrote what you think,
Charlie wrote that theres Hope, done sink.

A truth warms her heart as she steps in sun,
The new age of what shes yet to become,
I can feel the stares upon her back,
These boys and men doubt her and turn her heart black,
Now look up, and breathe decision, breathe new life on what your about to do,

Little girl dont look back,
Life is bigger your not to be held back,
Little girl dont cry its time for decision,
Trust you will make it,Hope is on your side.
